Seattle Super Sleuth Mystery Challenge
Monday, April 28, 2003, 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Conference participants will become super sleuths in some of Seattle's favorite and unique places. Participants will be divided into teams and sent on their way to explore the Emerald City. The goal: find the answers to the clues and solve the mystery before returning to the final destination for a delicious dinner. Each team will be awarded points based on their correct answers and the team with the most points wins.

Considering Seattle is a walkable city, most of the event is conducted on foot (so don't forget your walking shoes!). This event is great way to take in and learn about this beautiful and magnificent city. Be sure to bring a jacket, an umbrella,  and your walking shoes for this unique and fun event!

Annual Business Meeting

The IARE’s Annual Business Meeting will take place during lunch on Tuesday, April 29. This is your opportunity to hear what the IARE has been doing for the travel/hospitality call center industry this year and your opportunity to decide who will be leading your organization during the next year. Each member company has a stake in the organization; please make sure you are represented at this informative session.

Only IARE Principal Member companies are eligible to vote.

Discussion Groups

Discussion groups have been added for those with emphasis in Attendance & Incentives, Human Resources, and Customer Service. An Executive forum will also be held for VP-level participants. Facilitators will moderate these groups.

Please watch for an email requesting samples of your innovative practices and suggestions to share with the group.

Call Center Forum

One of the greatest benefits of the IARE Annual Conference is the opportunity for networking with industry colleagues. The Call Center Forums are designed to stimulate discussion on call center issues specific to size and number of employees. This year’s Call Center Forums will provide facilitated discussion for call center managers to share insights and strategies to enhance call center performance. The Call Center Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 29th.

The Call Center Forum has been condensed to two hours on Tuesday. The agenda for each forum will be determined in advance through email requests and announcements during the Conference so that discussion will focus on idea-sharing.
Call Center Tours

Interested in seeing how other call centers operate? Be sure to stay for the Center Tours on Wednesday, April 30th. Bus transportation will be provided to visit three local reservation centers, then return you to the Red Lion Hotel by 1:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend these tours and sign-up information will be available at the Conference.

What to Wear

The attire for the IARE Conference is business casual. The average temperature in Seattle in April is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 Celsius) and a little rain is to be expected. Be sure to bring your raincoat, an umbrella, and walking shoes.

Meeting room temperatures will vary from 65 to 70 degrees. Please bring a sweater or jacket to adjust to your own comfort level.
