Steven Smith
MarcumSmith, LLC
Smith has spent the past twenty
years exploring the dynamics of great leaders and teams —how they
work, think, collaborate, and who they are. The result of his latest
work, egonomics: what makes ego our greatest asset (or most
expensive liability), is published by Simon & Schuster. Steve has
invested nearly two decades into trying to reinvent the way people
work. His work has been published in 24 languages in over 50
countries. Smith’s writing, speaking and business ideas have
received acclaim from Tom Peters, Ram Charan, Marshall Goldsmith,
Harvard Business School, Thunderbird, and embraced by such client
organizations as Microsoft, Disney, Baptist Health Care, Hard Rock
Cafe, Cox Communications, American Express, and State Farm. With
degrees in management, psychology and expertise in team dynamics and
leadership, Microsoft Live Meeting featured Smith for two years as
top leadership faculty. His work has been featured by The Dallas

Jim Asplund
Gallup
Jim Asplund is coauthor of
the book Human Sigma: Managing the Employee-Customer Encounter, in which
Asplund and coauthor John Fleming describe how to drive success by
effectively managing the moments when employees interact with customers.
Based on research spanning 10
million employees and 10 million customers around the globe, the Human
Sigma approach combines a proven method for assessing the health of
employee-customer encounters with a disciplined process for improving
it.
Jim is a Principal of Gallup, and
Chief Scientist for Strengths-Based Development. He leads Gallup’s
global research on the science of human strengths and how to apply them
to improve organizational performance. Since joining Gallup in 1999, he
has worked with clients in the retail, financial services,
manufacturing, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and has
authored or coauthored over 500 studies of organizational performance.
Some of this research has been popularized in the #1 Wall Street Journal
bestseller StrengthsFinder 2.0.
Faith Legendre
Cisco Systems, Inc.
Faith Legendre currently
works as Senior Global Consultant at Cisco Systems, Inc. She has a
Masters degree in Management from the Antioch New England Graduate
School and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maine. She has
extensive experience in the training field including VP of Training for
1-800-Flowers.com. She has presented over 20 times in the past few years
on a wide range of training topics and the use of technology in
training. She promises "an
interactive,
humorous, relatable, meaty session" and believes that if you apply what
